While interning at One Architecture in New York City, I assisted with the research and graphics production for an exciting proposal to convert the abandoned TriBoro freight line into a green way. The core of our proposal is an inclusive growth approach that maximizes social benefit and civic empowerment while putting economic revenue to good use. We produced a book and an exhibition for the Regional Planning Association’s 4th Regional Plan, highlights of which can be viewed here. One hope is to use this project to advocate for active transportation and development models which keep value local in the outer boroughs.
